BEFORE WE START
I will be using everything up until the end of Jojolion and up until the end of Chainsaw Man Part One
Aki will not be getting Gun Fiend abilities or feats

Background:
Rai Mamezuku
Rai was born to plant farmers who had their crops stolen and brought down. They decided to move and Rai blamed them for the loss of their crops. However, one day, their pear orchard was destroyed by a typhoon. His father went to check it out when he was killed by a landslide. Everyone believed it was just a freak accident, but once Rai encounters Tooru and his Wonder of U, everything gets suddenly recontextualised. Rai has been living by himself on a ski lift ever since
Aki Hayakawa
When Aki was a child, he wanted to play outside in the snow. His parents were too busy catering to his sick younger brother but his brother came outside later to play with him. Aki demanded that his brother go back inside to get gloves for himself, but as soon as he did, their entire house was destroyed by the Gun Devil, killing his whole family. Aki grew up and became a devil hunter so that he could get revenge on the Gun Devil.

Devil Hunter Suit
These suits are quite sturdy and allowed Aki to survive being stabbed by Katana Man, and prevented him from being completely impaled
Cursed Sword
A sword given to him by the Curse Devil. It works in tandem with the Curse Devil's contract
Angel's Katana
Aki's blade is a katana made by Angel. It is able to cut things that are intangible such as ghosts

Rai Mamezuku
Doggystyle
I'm not kidding here, Rai's main ability is called Doggystyle. Rai possesses a stand, which is the physical manifestation of the fighting spirit. Only stand users can see other stands and only a stand may harm another stand.
Doggystyle has the ability to allow Rai to peel and unravel his body into “rope wires”
Aki Hayakawa
Curse Devil
With this contract, Aki points his sword at the target and says “Fire”, causing the Curse Devil to flick the sword at them. If Aki stabs someone three times with the sword, the Curse Devil appears and mutilates the opponent.
Future Devil
With this contract, Aki has the ability to see a few seconds into the future. He can also summon it by calling its name.
Feats

Overall:
Remodelled an entire ski lift into a place to live
Can use his stand to transform his arm into a makeshift crossbow
Was able to identify some of Soft and Wet's bubbles as the spin technique
Strength:
Can cut his own hand off with a knife
Can fire a fork with a makeshift crossbow hard enough to break glass and pierce Urban Guerilla's skin
Durability:
Cuts his own hand off and puts it back together
Survives having his legs ripped apart by calamity and puts them back together

Kept up with Josuke and Yasuho

Aki Hayakawa

He is incredibly reckless and will sacrifice his own life to achieve his goals
Verdict
Going into this I did have somewhat of an idea in my head of who I thought would win but I never properly looked into it. However, I can now confidently say that Aki Hayakwa wins. For starters, Rai is incredibly intelligent and has such a versatile ability, he can utilise his rope wires in different ways and he isn’t afraid to face Aki head on. His durability is more impressive than I thought, he did take on being pressurised by Ozon Baby and frequently gets chunks of him removed. However, his strength is quite lackluster. He has hardly any offensive feats and those that he does have aren’t capable of dealing lasting damage to Aki. Aki is able to slice through limbs and has no problems dodging and countering foes that are faster than anything Rai has. Yes, Aki does have the Future Devil to help him see a few seconds into the future, but even if he sees an attack coming, he still needs to react to and counter it himself. Even if Rai summons Doggystyle for whatever reason, we can probably assume Aki’s katana can slice through the stand, seeing as it can cut through ghosts and other intangible things, Aki just wouldn’t be able to see the stand. Rai doesn’t have many strength feats but even if he did, he can produce nothing strong enough to pierce through the devil hunter suit, making Aki almost untouchable. However I can imagine Rai having the upper hand at the start of the battle, due to Aki not being able to figure out Doggystyle and Rai can always heal himself from any injuries he may sustain.
As much as I love Rai, Aki was just too much for him to handle. Maybe next time we can have a farming battle so my favourite can win?
